Description
China Source Factory export Rotary Kiln Forged Tyre.35 years’ experiecen.Export to 60 countries.Highest quality and good price.
The manufacturing process of steel forged tire is also called rolling ring. Its function is to transfer all the gravity of the cylinder (including the gravity of refractory bricks, internal devices and materials) to the supporting wheel, and make the cylinder rotate smoothly on the supporting wheel. Therefore, the tire should have sufficient strength, stiffness and fatigue resistance.
Ingot heating → forging billet making → ring rolling forming → heat treatment after forging → rough turning → ultrasonic testing (UT) → tempering → sampling and testing → fine turning → final inspection → packaging and delivery
The large-scale forging wheel is made of refined steel ingot. After being heated as a whole, it is first rounded, and then the nozzle and riser are cut off with a chopper to ensure sufficient removal. After upsetting, punching and reaming, the initial billet (as shown in Fig. 2) is obtained to ensure that the forging ratio is more than 4:1. After reheating, raw2500 / 1250-16000 / 3000 ring rolling machine is used for ring rolling.
After forging, the large-scale forging wheel and tyre should be air cooled to room temperature for normalizing after forging, so as to eliminate the forging stress, refine the internal structure and grain, and prepare for the next rough machining and quenching and tempering treatment
We choose water as quenching medium to improve its hardenability. After tempering, in order to avoid the formation of excessive stress in the workpiece and the formation of temper brittleness, air cooling is adopted after tempering.
The mechanical property testing of large-scale forging tire body mainly includes surface hardness, tensile properties and impact properties. The service life of tire is closely related to the surface hardness, especially the surface hardness of the outer circle. Due to the relative motion between the tyre and the supporting roller, one of the main failure modes is spalling caused by contact stress. Therefore, the hardness uniformity of the tire surface has a great influence on the service life of the tire.
The uniformity of mechanical properties of large-scale forged tire is very good. The surface microstructure of the forged 30mn5 steel tire was observed by portable metallographic microscope. The results show that the microstructure of forged 30mn5 steel tire after normalizing and quenching and tempering is ferrite + tempered sorbite, and the microstructure uniformity is good.
